I shot with The Sound Archives later in the day after I shot with Sam. This is my friend Marco Lira’s new band. Our first location didn’t work out so I thought of something similar to what I had in mind. Pretty stoked on these.

Sam Martin is an artist that I’ve known since high school. I think he might actually be the one who got me into photoshop how ever many year ago. He does a lot of cool shit and has plans to do even cooler shit. He has a site that he is working on so when it’s done I’ll let you know.

things are starting to become clearer.
I shot some photos for the hairstyling class at MUD. They were working on their avant garde projects. It was really neat and I’m stoked on the photos. Check them out below! We shot some in the studio when they were all done also, but those are not done yet.
It is time to head in a different direction with my images. The last few months have been trying to figure out what aesthetic vision is. I’ve been getting simpler and simpler, but now I want it to be more simple. We’ll see how that goes. The above image is from the day after the Keating’s Landing party that Velia’s mom throws once a year. And it’s a pretty amazing party, in fact it’s the only party I’ll even shoot anymore. Had a great time!
I spend a lot of time on the internet. Everything from the pointless articles about things only I would care about to somewhat serious articles of news happening around the world. The most important things I read and keep up on are the blogs of a few photographers. The last few months have been eye opening to say the least, every single day has been more inspiring than the last. I have so many ideas and so many projects I want to start working on. So many directions I want to go. My website is at a point where I’m happy enough to leave it the way it is for a few months, now I feel like I can start working on other things. Chase Jarvis has totally changed the way I view my craft and reading his blogs makes me so excited for my career path. I want this more than anything I have ever wanted, and I am going to make it happen. I am willing it give up anything and everything to work towards my goals. I want to be one of the best around, I want to one day, have a blog where I can give back to this community of photographers. Inspiration is the greatest feeling.
I’ve known Casey for a while now, he is getting married in March to Jodi. Our friend Thomas was shooting the photos, I hung out and shot a few as well. Casey and Thomas also run Stigma Design and Photography.
